The building has an attractive exterior and is well-maintained. The interior is clean and well-organized, and the staff is friendly. However, the facility is grossly understaffed; residents requiring specific nursing care sometimes do not receive it on time.
The facility is well-located in an area with plenty of retail stores, restaurants and churches nearby. It is also only a few miles from Palisades Medical Center-Ny Presbyterian Healthcare S and the Hudson Valley Hospital. Residents can use the onsite fitness center to maintain their health, and there is an outdoor courtyard with recreational areas including a bocce court and putting green, plus simulated surfaces to practice walking on different terrains. The staff can administer medication intravenously, a quicker way to get it into the bloodstream than by mouth.
